This is an 1858 Flying Eagle Cent with a grade of P-1 (Poor). The Flying Eagle cent was a short-lived series, minted for circulation only in 1857 and 1858, making it a key type coin for collectors. Due to heavy circulation, most of the details on this coin are worn away, but the main outlines of the eagle and wreath are still discernible.
