Published in 1893 by Akiyama Buemon, this bijin-ga image portrays a waitress standing in front of a tea shop, depicting daily life in Japan. The print captures traditional attire and surroundings, characteristic of the Horeki Era. The artist Mizuno Toshikata (1866-1908) was a prominent Meiji-era painter and woodblock printmaker known for his detailed bijin-ga and historical subjects. This piece exhibits condition issues, including tears along the left edge, visible foxing, and backing. Dimensions are approximately 9 3/4 wide x 14 high.
