The work exhibits expert craftsmanship in its depiction of both human figures and surrounding landscapes. The print has worming, thinning, fading, and a thin backing present. Hiroshige was a prominent ukiyo-e artist known for his landscapes and innovative compositions, particularly evident in his renowned Tokaido series, which documented the historic Tokaido road connecting Edo and Kyoto.
