An original Japanese woodblock print by Toyokuni III, also known as Utagawa Kunisada (1786–1865), depicting two figures in traditional attire with straw hats. This multicolored print features intricate patterns on the garments and a dramatic composition. Dimensions of the artwork are approximately 10 inches high, 14.5 inches wide. The back of the print exhibits aged coloring consistent with its era. There is evidence of trimming and pinholes on the right edge. Toyokuni III was a prominent artist of the Edo period, celebrated for his vibrant ukiyo-e portraits of kabuki actors.
