Original 19th century Japanese woodblock print attributed to Toyokuni III (also known as Utagawa Kunisada), featuring a finely detailed and colorful depiction of elegantly dressed figures under a cherry blossom tree. The scene is rendered with intricate patterns on the clothing and meticulous attention to decorative elements, including elaborate floral motifs and traditional umbrellas. Dimensions: 19 1/2 inches high, 14 1/4 inches wide. The print consists of a diptych format, presenting a harmonious composition across the two panels. Verso shows signs of trimming and pinholes. Toyokuni III was a prominent artist of the Utagawa school and is celebrated for his dynamic artistry in kabuki-themed prints and scenic reproductions.
